Medog Highway: Located in the two counties of Bomi County and Medog County in Tibet, it refers to the new reconstruction project of the road from Zhamu Town, Bomi County, Tibet to the county seat of Medog County. On the basis of the original Medog simple roads, 29 new bridges and 227 culverts were newly built. It has crossed 6 rivers including Bodou Zangbo River, Jinzhu Zangbo River and Ximo River successively, passed through Galong Temple, tunneled through Galongla Snow Mountain, passed through Miri and Madi Villages, and arrived at Lianhua Square in Medog County. The total length of the route is 117 kilometers.

It’s just that there are many cameras on the road, and drivers must strictly control the speed of the vehicle. Some people have been deducted 6 points for speeding on this road. When G318 came here, I already felt aesthetically fatigued. In addition to climbing over mountains and high mountain passes, there are also snow-capped mountains. , I think I can go home.
Today’s Tongmai natural barrier has become a thoroughfare, bridges and tunnels have been built beside the old road, and the old road has been abandoned. Tongmai Natural Insurance no longer exists.
