Bridgestone, a global Olympic partner, made an appearance at the Tmall Vitality Camp held in Hangzhou, China from June 22 to 24. Known as the “Mobile Internet City,” Hangzhou is also home to the headquarters of Alibaba, a global partner of the Olympics. The theme of the event is “Young Arena”, and the five new sports events of the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games are designed as interactive games.
In Bridgestone’s independent exhibition area, two star products, ECOPIA EP300 featuring “fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly, wet-road braking, and durable wear-resistance”, and TURANZA T005 featuring “comfortable, quiet, and wet-road safety” were unveiled together .
“Team Bridgestone” athlete ambassador, 2016 Rio Olympics badminton men’s singles champion Chen Long, recorded an interactive challenge video for this event. A challenge will be launched based on the results, and those who succeed in the challenge will get a badminton racket signed by Chen Long.
Tmall Vitality Camp has designed a creative experience area for the five new Olympic sports (baseball and softball, karate, rock climbing, surfing, and skateboarding), bringing participants a realistic sports experience and Olympic fun. Bridgestone’s products are also ingeniously integrated into the creative experience area. The tires are used as obstacles in the skateboard experience area, adding a dynamic atmosphere to the scene and showing the spirit of challenge more vividly.
