Bridgestone BATTLAX series entered the Chinese market in 2018. RS11 adopts the V-MS-BELT (irregularly spaced seamless winding of cords) tire structure among high-performance track tires. The pattern of RS11 is designed with reference to the popular track tire R11. The configuration of its main groove is in the same direction as the tire’s stress, which improves the rigidity of the tread and the stability during bending. Compared with the track tire R11, the main groove of RS11 has been extended to ensure the wet performance required for road driving. RS11 has also adjusted the groove design on the shoulders, so that the overall rigidity of the tread is improved, thereby increasing the ground contact area of the tire when the car body is tilted, and the grip is stronger.
In addition, the front and rear tires of RS11 use a unique 3LC composite tread rubber formula, which is harder in the middle and softer on the two sides. The harder tread rubber in the center can improve straight-line stability and tire wear resistance, and the slightly softer tires are used on both sides. Top rubber increases cornering grip.
