A few days ago, according to the latest information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Dongfeng Honda’s new XR-V model has been officially declared. The new car is equipped with 1.5L (96kW) and 1.5T (130kW), while the current 1.8L (100kW) power is replaced by a 1.5T engine; at the same time, The 1.5T model is also equipped with a total of two exhausts on both sides.
Judging from the declaration drawing, the front face design of the new car is more rounded, but a large number of chrome-plated elements are added to the grille and fog lamp area, which looks more refined. At the rear of the car, the new car continues the design of the current model, but it is adjusted for the rear bumper. In addition, the 1.5T model adopts a double-sided exhaust layout, and the 1.5L continues to adopt a single-sided single-outlet exhaust layout.
In terms of configuration, the high-end models of the new car will provide a panoramic sunroof. In terms of power, the new XR-V is equipped with 1.5T and 1.5L engines with maximum power of 177 horsepower (130kW) and 131 horsepower (96kW) respectively; the transmission system is expected to still use the current CVT gearbox.
