Depart from Chavalon in the morning and arrive at Zayu County in the afternoon, completing the core section of the Bingchacha crossing.
Today we crossed three passes:
1. Xiongzhula Pass, 4636 meters above sea level.
2. Changla Pass, 4498 meters above sea level.
3. Yixiula Pass, 4706 meters above sea level.
Finally, it ends at the sign stone of Sangjiu Village in S201. This means that we have successfully crossed Bingchacha! What are you waiting for! Must take a group photo! Looking at the red inscriptions on the stele, we were very excited.
Today’s Chacha section gradually enters the sparsely populated high-altitude area. The altitude of the Bingcha section is basically between 1700 meters and 2000 meters. Go back to the altitude of 2300 meters in Zayu County. Therefore, taking the Bingchacha route is the route with the shortest distance to Tibet and the lowest altitude.

Bingchacha’s itinerary is as follows:
1. Bingzhongluo – Yunnan-Tibet boundary, 30 kilometers, asphalt road.
2. Yunnan-Tibet border – Chawalong, 55 kilometers, gravel road, newly built road.
3. Chawalong-Sangjiu village sign stone, 218 kilometers, gravel road, newly built road.
4. The landmark stone of Sangjiu Village – 15 kilometers from Ping An Hotel in Zayu County.

The Teng people who arrived in Zayu County today have more than 1,300 people living in Zayu. They have their own language, but they are not yet one of the 56 ethnic groups. If a tribe with such a small population is not well protected, it may soon disappear under the impact of foreign culture and modern civilization.

Pilaf is a traditional delicacy for the Teng people to entertain guests. The rice is the rice produced by the Teng people, simmered with ginger, green onions and other ingredients, and then served with a few pieces of fragrant local chicken or meat, and then served with emerald green banana leaves. When the rice is served well, it is made into a unique flavor of Teng people’s hand pilaf.
The most unique thing is the way they cook chicken. It is said that when Teng people slaughter chickens and lose their feathers, they do not scald them with boiling water, but pull them out by hand first, and then burn them with fire. Cookout flavor.
If I don’t go to Zayu, I will never know Mount Damla. It is the only way from Zayu to Linzhi, with an altitude of nearly 5000 meters.

I originally planned to go to Medog today, but due to the heavy snow closure of the Galongla Tunnel some time ago, traffic control was implemented. Flowers on the road.
Galongla Snow Mountain is at the junction of Bomi and Medog, with an altitude of 4,200 meters. The climate is changeable and daunting. In addition, the geological structure is complex and the activities are intense. Avalanches, landslides, and mudslides may occur at any time. Therefore, Galongla Snow Mountain is called the sacred mountain by the local people.

Woke up early in the morning and met the beautiful Niyang River, the mother river of Tibet. Slowly flowing, time is very slow.

I met a Tibetan family having a picnic in Basongcuo. This baby is so cute!
The water here is very green, the flowers are beautiful, there is no overwhelming crowd, only pleasant stop and go.

Ganden Monastery is located on Wangbori Mountain at an altitude of 3,800 meters on the south bank of the Lhasa River in Dazi County, Lhasa.
The temple is the most special temple among the six major temples of the Yellow Sect. It was built by Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism, in 1409. It can be said to be the ancestral temple of the Gelug Sect. It is called Yongshou Temple.
Wangbori Mountain is like a giant elephant, carrying the large-scale Gadan Temple complex full of valleys. The temple stands beside the mountain, and the buildings overlap, majestic and magnificent. Gadan Monastery, Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery are collectively known as the “Three Great Monasteries” in Lhasa, and Emperor Shizong of the Qing Dynasty once bestowed the name Yongshou Temple.

At 7:30 in the afternoon, Lhasa, the City of Sunshine, and the magnificence of the Potala Palace came into view.
Samye Monastery, the first monastery in Tibet, is 160 kilometers away from Lhasa in Shannan. I like the clear sky and few people here. I prefer the original murals that have gone through thousands of years.
The love for Tibet is like a magic hand that has been holding our hearts tightly. Here are the most devout beliefs, the highest altitude, the bluest sky, the clearest lake water, and the brightest sky. The temples with red walls and yellow tiles under the blue sky and white clouds, the monks with peaceful faces, and the believers with firm eyes, I believe they are happy, which is also the reason for our persistence.
The 11-day road trip on the plateau has a variety of tastes. When we stand under the blue sky and white clouds, we are the closest people to the sky, that’s enough!
Along the way, snow-capped mountains bloom in spring, streams converge into lakes, and eagles flutter their wings in the sky. Through this trip to Bingchacha, we met like-minded girlfriends. We met, got acquainted, got to know each other, helped each other, saw all the beautiful scenery, and ate delicious food.
