Laobai’s comment: Crossovers, the one who finally defeats you is often not your peers but the crossovers. As a RV, the attribute of “house” in RG10 is very low, but its “car” performance is really ahead of other cars , and I personally feel that it is more appropriate to be called “MPV+”. If you are hesitating whether to go to work or go camping, then choosing RG10 will give you a surprise; if you plan to drive RG10 around the world, then you have given me a surprise.

RG10 is refitted by SAIC MAXUS RV Department using its own MVP chassis G10 . Because it is a second modification of its own brand vehicles, the integrity of the product is beyond the reach of ordinary refitting factories. In terms of vehicle appearance, it is difficult to distinguish the difference between the RG10 and the ordinary version of the G10 without deploying the roof lifting mechanism .

The sloping top is the biggest attraction of RG10 . The clever use of the electric roof-raising mechanism expands the use space of this ” small ” caravan. After the roof is raised, the upper space can sleep two adults. Pay attention to the black base at the bottom of the roof lifting mechanism. According to the manufacturer, this is specially reinforced carbon fiber for the strength supplement after the roof opening. Lao Bai is still skeptical about this, but it is definitely better than some small refitting factories cutting their own strength.

Sexy car butt, still indistinguishable from normal models. However, the compact body allows the vehicle to enter ordinary parking spaces and basements with ease.

The cockpit has not changed much compared to the prototype. The 2.0T gasoline engine can provide 165KW power and 345N m torque, and the 6AT automatic transmission also makes it easier to drive and more adaptable to urban road conditions.

The vehicle has 3 rows of seats (including the cockpit), which can satisfy a family of 6 to travel together, but there are only 4 beds . What needs to be specially mentioned here is that all the seats here are real car seats, which are absolutely different from some special seats for RVs that fool people in terms of safety.

There is a multi-functional sink and a small car refrigerator in the interior of the cabin, which are exquisitely designed and made of exquisite materials. Of course, it is enough for camping and picnics. If you really plan to use it for life, then the 31L clean water tank will teach you a ” wild survival lesson ” in water conservation .

With the roof raised, there is room for people to stand inside the car. The space at the top is still very spacious, enough for two people to sleep fancy. After the seat is changed into a bed, the inflatable mattress needs to be put on. The time is too long, and Lao Bai is too lazy to take pictures. Just imagine.

When you open the rear door, you will find that there are many living facilities densely arranged here, ranging from outdoor showers to portable toilets.

The RV itself also has a dedicated outdoor table, which is a bit interesting.

Summary: The crossover lives up to its name. If you look at the RG10 as a touring car, then it must be incompetent. But it solves the two problems of ordinary family caravan utilization rate and parking difficulty at the same time. What’s not to like about a car that can be driven to work on weekdays and take the whole family to the lake for a picnic on weekends. Further imagination, whether it can be used for a simple lunch break, as a small mobile office, or a short trip, simple and practical, regardless of whether it is an MPV or a RV.
