Traveling slowly through Inner Mongolia – touching the surprise along the way (2)

On the way to the south from here, we didn’t see a car or a person, the sky and the earth were long, and the white clouds disappeared. Only the cattle and sheep on the undulating grassland under the empty sky.

We stop and go, cattle and sheep probably don’t see people often, and they stare at us seriously. There are flocks of sheep and flocks of sheep, the hills are green, the grass is not high, and the sheep are fat and clean, unlike the sheep I saw raised in the countryside.

The herd is just on the other side of the hill, without interfering with or penetrating each other. When we approached, they stopped grazing and looked at us stupidly. When the children in the family cheered, they turned their heads and hurried away.

Aobao is on the top of the mountain.

On the hillside behind the flock are cows or horses

Most of the sheep just lowered their heads to eat grass, and there were always one or two guards watching us seriously.

I didn’t see a shepherd or a cowherd boy. I think this is a peaceful world.

Over the flock of sheep on the hillside, there is a big bird hovering, I don’t know if it is an eagle.

There are cows on this side of the hillside, and this one is the most alert.

Looking from this side, there are cattle at the foot of the mountain and sheep on the slope.

Aobao in the shape of steamed buns can be seen on the top of the hillside. Aobao is the sacred totem of the Mongolian people. It is estimated that cattle are also very comfortable to graze on the side of the mountain where Aobao is located.

We turned around a long way, and the cow, which had switched positions, was still staring at us.

The livestock here look clean and live comfortably and peacefully. My parents like it very much, saying that it has not been such a peaceful feeling for a long time.

Headed back to Bunburn for a walk along the river just in time to see a lone herd of horses. Inadvertently came across the scene where the big stallion defended the group.

Herdsmen’s horses are not kept in captivity or tame as we think, but in semi-free range.

This group of horses is by the small river opposite where we live. There are about ten horses. There should be four foals that have just been born recently. One of them is still very young. Sometimes it is difficult to stand up. The foal basically follows closely beside the mare.

I took the children to see the horses. Suddenly, the tallest and strongest black horse in the group jumped up and rushed out of the group at a very fast speed. Its mane was magnificent and its muscles were tense. It is understood that stallions from other herds approached its territory or approached mares in its herd. It charged bravely in a patriarchal manner, and soon a brown horse retreated and ran away.

At this time, it returned to the group of horses in a manly manner, looked down for a week, and then lowered its head calmly and complacently to graze beside a gentle mare. It was also at this time that I paid close attention to it, and it turned out to be so handsome: the pure black fur shone like brocade, with only two snow-white hind hooves, a black forehead with a little white star, and clear and smooth muscle lines!

When I went back and chatted with the owner of the inn, I realized that there was only one stallion in the horse herd, and the others were all mares. “There are too many stallions, that’s why it’s causing trouble!” The herdsman outside the inn answered with a wave of his big hand, his expression was disturbing.
“How much does such a horse cost?” “Hey! How can a good horse cost tens of thousands! Such a good stallion is even more expensive. The foal costs seven or eight thousand!” I calculated, a herdsman has such a ten thousand A few horses, hundreds of sheep, dozens of cows… sheep usually cost 1,781 heads, and cows 17,800. The shepherd’s living assets are still very rich!

bow your head and enjoy the grass

Get out of the car, ride on the honest Mongolian horse at the door, and turn back and forth~

Time walked slowly among the herds of horses on the hillside of the prairie, chatting leisurely with the herdsmen (from this I learned the meaning of these Mongolian place names, and learned about the life of the prairie and the herdsmen), and came back at sunset.

The setting sun illuminates the sculptures on the side of the road. The herdsmen told us that these two big wheels symbolize the oldest Lele carts in the Mongolian grassland. His ancestors, when they were still nomadic, relied on Lele carts to transfer the entire property to the ranch every year. On the grassland, I turn from spring to summer, from summer to autumn, and from autumn to winter without rushing.

The sculpture reads “Tianrong Ecology” mottled and mottled, and the inscription is Beijing Normal University.

The herdsmen said that this place was only powered on in 1995! Before it was dark, they would rest at night, otherwise they would have to light oil lamps… In 1995, we had already learned computer programming in middle school.

The Bunben Ranch is relatively flat in the south, and it is a long way across the river before reaching the hills in the distance.

Under the sculpture of Tianrong Ecology, the unattended Mongolian horse is grazing with its tail flicking, which is the best annotation for the sculpture.

Gacha’s flocks are back, and there is a peaceful atmosphere in the twilight.

You can see a lot of yurts covered with cloth covers. Half of the herdsmen in this Gacha also receive tourists in summer, but at this time, they have not opened yet.
