Porsche has further enriched the entire Macan range with a unique sports model. The newly launched Macan GTS is equipped with a powerful engine, a high-performance chassis, reinforced components and unique design elements. The model has increased by 15 kW (20 PS). Combined with the newly tuned PDK dual-clutch transmission and the optional Sport Chrono package, the new Macan GTS accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds, 0.3 seconds faster than its predecessor. The top speed reaches 261 km/h. From now on, the new Macan GTS is available for pre-sale in the Chinese market, and the manufacturer’s suggested retail price is RMB 768,000.
In addition, the newest member of Porsche’s compact SUV family received the GTS designation, which stands for “Gran Turismo Sport” and is proof of the vehicle’s outstanding driving performance. The chassis of the new Macan GTS has been lowered by 15 millimetres, while the functions of the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) damping control system have been tuned even sportier, resulting in even more outstanding lateral dynamics. The new car is equipped with 20-inch RS Spyder Design wheels as standard, combined with large-sized cast iron brake discs (360 x 36 mm at the front and 330 x 22 mm at the rear), ensuring the extraordinary sportiness of a pure sports car with impressive Impressive flexibility and responsiveness. The 2.9-liter 6-cylinder engine is the core of the sound experience. Its two turbochargers are placed in the angle between the V-shaped cylinders of the engine, making the engine response more sensitive. The new Macan GTS also visually emphasizes its sporty character. The standard Sport Design package includes uniquely designed front and rear black strips and side skirts, giving the vehicle a more personalized appearance.
