Chery ACTECO series third-generation 1.6TGDI engine

The third-generation 1.6TGDI engine of the ACTECO series, which occupies the core position of Chery’s exhibition area, is the first direct-injection gasoline engine of a Chinese brand that meets the National VI emission regulations (meeting the National VI b emission standard). This engine adopts five advanced technologies including Chery iHEC (intelligent effect) combustion system, rapid heating thermal management system, rapid response supercharging technology, friction reduction technology, and lightweight technology. The fuel thermal efficiency is greater than 37.1%, and the maximum power is 145KW. The peak torque is 290N∙m, and the power performance surpasses that of mainstream joint venture brands with the same displacement. It is praised as “the strongest Chinese core” by the outside world.

The ACTECO series engine is not only the first Chinese brand to fully develop a series of engines with independent intellectual property rights, but also has accumulated more than 7 million users. It is exported to more than 80 countries and regions around the world along with the complete vehicle, and exported to the United States and Japan separately , Germany and other auto industry powerhouses have achieved countless users’ word-of-mouth. On May 28, the third-generation 1.6TGDI engine of the ACTECO series will be equipped with a new generation of Tiggo 8 for mass production and launch.

CVT25 transmission

The CVT25, which is next to the 1.6TGDI engine, is a high-end continuously variable transmission independently developed by China, and was selected as one of the “World’s Top Ten Transmissions” in 2019. It can manually simulate 9 gears, the maximum output torque is 250N∙m, supports start-stop, electronic shift, 48V and other extended functions, and can be widely used in traditional and hybrid vehicles. At the same time, this gearbox has fast power response, excellent NVH performance and fuel economy, comparable to Japanese CVT.

It can be filled with hydrogen in 3 minutes, and the maximum cruising range is 700 kilometers. The start-up time of the fuel cell is less than 6 seconds, and the volume specific power is as high as 4.0kW/L, 30% higher than the 3.1KW/L of internationally renowned brands, reaching the international leading level.
